Hi There, I have searched the forum, scoured the code and I just cant work it out myself.

I need to add a left and right module positions to the Top position ( same styling as current L/R is fine ).

I understand the normal process and have added module to standard templates before, but with the framework, things are a little confusing.

I have added the positions ‘top-left’ and ‘top-right’ to the .xml file, but the rest is confusing me. I am guessing that I have to modify the topsl.php, and add the ‘countModules(‘top-left’)’ etc, but would like to retain the left and right column widths set for the template, and the styling for the standard left/right modules. When I try to look for the code that adds the normal left and right columns to cop it, thats where I get lost.

If anyone could help me out or even point me in the right direction it would be appreciated.

Thanks for coming back to me, I dodnt see the post earlier.

I guess it is a little hard to explain in words but I will try below. I will put together a screen shot in the next day or two and come back to you also.

Currently, in the ‘top’ position, I have a module ( standard ) that is a put xhtml module with no borders, rounded etc. Ans it takes up 100% of the available template width.

Below that I have the user module ( 1-5?) available – but I am not using..

Then below that i have Left – Content – Right with the column width set with “$this->_basewidth = 23;”

    What I want is:

Top Left – Top – Top Right
    User
    Left – Conent – Right
    User etc..

Where the %width for the top left and top right are taken from the same variable as the main right and left values ( if possible ) and can be styled with the same _hilite etc suffixes from the template.

Does this make sence? 🙂 I hope so, but as I said I will also create a image with a screen shot of what I am after, but can do it right now.

    Again, many thanks for replying

    Regards
