March 3, 2012 at 3:14 pm #174579Hello,
I would like to add 2 new module positions as described in the attached image – in that specific locations as defined – in order to add Ads to them later. So the questions is how to add them to this template??
Could not find a documentation regarding that , but found regarding moving modules.
Please see attached image.

Thank you

March 4, 2012 at 4:29 pm #441767I have succeeded to add the TOP MAIN BANNER, by adding it to the templateDetails.xml , and then adding the block into Template layout , and defined a module as custom HTML , and added banner into it , and it works fine , however, I have problem with adding the Bottom Banner as described in the previous attached image.
So I have few questions.
1. Does the order of listing the module position in templateDetails.xml matter?? or I can put it wherever I want??
2. Extensions–> Template Manager –>JA_TELINE_IV –>Layouts –> Default (Edit)… Adding the block here :
1. Does the order matters??
2. Where I need to put the bottom banner block??
3. What type and style?? – In the top banner I just defined type=”modules”, and it works fine , however in the bottom on e , it does
not work. I can see the module position when I define custome HTML module , however it is not rendering at all.http://www.xn--mgbfwa6f4b.com/
Thank you

==> No, it doesn’t. You can put it any where in <positions>
2. Extensions–> Template Manager –>JA_TELINE_IV –>Layouts –> Default (Edit)… Adding the block here :
1. Does the order matters??
==> I don’t understand your question. You must follow these steps to edit current layout (default) you are using.
2. Where I need to put the bottom banner block??
3. What type and style?? – In the top banner I just defined type=”modules”, and it works fine , however in the bottom on e , it does
not work. I can see the module position when I define custome HTML module , however it is not rendering at all.
==> You edit default layout, you insert the code
<block name="banner-bottom" type="modules" style="raw">banner-bottom</block>
after
<blocks name="bottom" style="xhtml">
And you set position of your banner module is banner-bottomwaelali Friendwaelali

It seems there is a problem.
The title of the module is not appearing , however it is assigned to show.
The image is a little not in place.khoand Friendkhoand

No , I meant, I tried the same changes you did – removing style=”raw” , but could not get the right result.
However, it is ok now and every thing is ok.Did you make any thing except removing style=”raw” ??
