As my site is for EU nationals I would like to create some additional frontpages for the most common languages (the contents will be different from the main frontpage). How do I do that?

    Hello mate,

Did you try to use Joomfish component?

It allows you to present your website in multiple languages or better localizations.
Please visit joomfist website for more information

    Hi,

ONCE AGAIN: the contents will be different from the main frontpage so the issue is not just translating.

    Yes, you can do it.

    1. create one new page
    2. create new menu item to display this page
    2. On template configuration page, global tal, “Profile Override Settings” section. Assign “Home” profile for that page.
    3. Config your modules to display on that page as you want.
