Hi,
I would like to display more categories on the home page like the “Work” section in User 5 and User 6. The current template allows two of these categories to be displayed in this manner using a JA Side News module but I would like to add two more categories below User 5 and User 6.
Does anyone know what code I would need to add to the template and where to create a new User 14,16,17 and 18 below User 5 and 6 please?
Thanks,
Tomo:-[

May 12, 2012 at 7:42 am #452728Hi Tomo555
There are 2 way to do that– The first: you do not need create user 14,16,17, 18 position. You only need duplicate module JA SIDE NEWS and change config categories and add to position user 5, user 6
– The second: you can add user 14,16,17, 18 position as edit layout in template manage, please look at my attached file.Regards

Hi,
We tried the first method before sending the original post and the modules in User6 align nicely. However the “introductions” in User 5 do not align as they are not configured to the same height as the module 6 and bunch up. Also using this method we don’t get a separating horizontal line between the modules.
So that leaves us the second option of of configuring new module positions. Your screenshot doesn’t show any amended code so not sure what to do here without messing everything up. Is there a chance you could do a quick edit of the template file and send me the screenshot?
Also just wanted to know if the JA Side News module can pick up K2 items?
Thanks very much.
Tomo

Further to my post above I added the code as per the attachment which seems to have created the additional 2 user positions user15 and user16. However there seems some further css files that I need to change as this is not enough to look like user5 and user6…
Please help…
Thanks again,
Tomo
