Hi,
I like the layout of Teline, and the customisation of it (CSS etc) seems a great feature.
I want to make it more of a traditional template system, with menu on the left.
Basically I guess I just need it modified to have a module position on the left.
Can this be done?
Will I get support in this if I sign up?

I dont want to sign up and get told its all “as is now go away”, I have seen other posts about additional positions for banners, and the answer was favourable.

Moving the menu of JA Teline to the left will require some template modification which is beyond standard support. However I will be willing to help once you have become JA Template club member. I can send the modified version to your email.

hello Hung Dinh,
i have the same question as danieldpr. would appreciate to receive a modified version.
Teline is great but i am sure many people would love to have the menu on the left side and the ja-news in the middle. would that be possible?

Hi. I am already a club member and i like your templates more than the rockettheme templates what does not mean that they are not good.
There i registered just before and then i found joomlart. 🙂
I decided to use the ja_teline to create a sports portal. Is it possible to get a changed version of the teline with the menue on the left, the content in the middle like the standard look.
You said u could send a changed version.

I think everybody knows the ijoomla news portal and the ijoomla magazine components.
I cant decide which i can or should use to create my side.

I want to show infos about different kinds of sports. Infos about the player, the historie, scores, differentkinds of trainings, off course news and so on.

Or do i have to use both components?

Just a quick note. There is no need to use the iJoomla component to create this website of yours ( at least from what I understand ) JA teline has no such component and as you can see it works perfectly for your type of sports site. I would also be very much interested in a version with left side column…

Yes u may be right that i dont need it but I just tested the news portal and its great cause it uses the structure of joomla. I like the design and easy settings in the news portal.

I think i take this component really just to show the news.
And the other content like infos about doping,locations,excercises and so on i will show in an extra Menu with the standard section/category structure.

Therefore i can take the bloglisting/tablelisting or so.

Hello. Can you please send me the modified version of JA Teline with the menu on the left as well? Ideally, I would like the main menu on the left, while still having polls, etc. on the right.
