    Dear Developers,

I love your templates and use your older templates because it’s easy to edit the look and feel.
My client likes JA-social a lot. It’s a nice template but I’m new to the T3 framework.
When I want to edit certain html, I have to go to plugins>system>jat3 etc.
It seems to me that there are far more files involved for the template. Why is this?
I’d rather stick to JA kyanite ii. It’s way more easy to edit. (templates>template>blocks> etc.)

My question is: what are the advantages of the structure of the newer templates?

    oh, you made wrong 🙂

T3 framework supports override layout feature, meaning is: if you would like to customize, change any code of any files inside subfolders such as blocks, html, page of the plugins>system>jat3>base-themes>default folder , you only create the similar structure of folders and put them into the templates/JATEMPLATE/ folder.

please refer to wiki to get clear on this feature http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_T3_Framework_2/Guides#Override_Priority
