For the site I am installing JA Argo on, I can’t use the quickinstaller package, cause it’s a live site. That’s why I installed the template package. The T3 framework with T3 plugin was allready in place as the current template is JA Elastica (I also updated the T3 framework). Now after installing I don’t see the template or site settings which would normaly show up in the right side of the template when opening it in the admin. I am enclosing a screenshot of it. Can anyone help me out?

Also when I temporarily assign the template to a page to look at it on the frontend of the site the site shows up completely blank when I click on that page, so something is definitly broken in the template. Did I miss a stap in installing? Shouldn’t it be possible to just install the template.zip and expect the thing to work and if not, give clear instructions, cause I didn’t see any extra things I had to do…

Hi MarijkeVerkaik,

JA Elastica template goes along with JAT3 (old version) framework while JA Argo runs with new T3 framework. If you wanna use JA Argo, you need to install new T3 plugin ( you can find it in download section of Argo template). One more note is that you need to disable the old JAT3 plugin first before going to Argo template settings, since using both of 2 version will cause conflict.

Thanks for your answer Saguaros,
That’s a problem cause we are using elastica on a live site.. So we would have to take the site offline in order to install the new plugin and get Argo to work. I guess there is no other sollution?
There isn’t an updated version of Elastica availiable which works with the new plugin?

Hi again,

The new T3 plugin is so different from the old one, so I’m afraid that there is not solution right now. Try to switch one of these 2 versions when you change template respectively.
