    On Joomla 3.4.1
    T3 2.4.8
    Uber 2.1.1
    ACM 2.0.6

All my admin config translations for the ACM module are missing. I can see the language files from T3 but for some reason translations are not happening in the module itself.

    Hi there
Our issue here because language file is not loaded or incorrectly .
The only thing we need to do is check and point to right language and make sure it’s loaded.

    Thank you,
    Viet Vu

    Hi @bodgeit, @sublimemag,

Try to copy 2 files from modulesmod_ja_acmlanguageen-GB then paste to languageen-GB and let me know the result.

I’m afraid it doesn’t fix the problem for me. I’ve also copied the files to administrator/language/en-GB/ but no luck…

    Hi @sublimemag,

    1. Also make sure that the template language file is up-to-date by copying file from templatesuberlanguageen-GB to languageen-GB

    2. Try create new JA ACM module with the same type and see if the problem appear or not.

    3. If possible, please at least provide a temporary admin account via private reply so I can investigate the problem, I will check and tell you if there’s anything need to be fixed after that.

    Hi there
I just want to share my reverse document and hope it useful for you

    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/understand-acm-module/

    In another words you’ll need
    ‘tpl_’ . $tpl & ‘tpl_’ . $tpl . ‘.sys’ located under JPATH_ROOTlanguageen-GB

with $tpl is your current active template name ( assume it’s Uber ).

But if your ACM module was configured for another template. For example Teline V. You’ll also need that language too
    So it’ll be

    <blockquote>tpl_uber.ini
    tpl_uber.sys.ini
    </blockquote>
    and
    <blockquote>tpl_ja_teline_v.ini
    tpl_ja_teline_v.sys.ini
    </blockquote>

And yes, you should update with latest language file.

To get latest language file. You can download template. For example Uber

    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=4039

    Extract it.
    And get language files from
    uber.v2.1.2.ziplanguageen-GB

And some bad case your language files have any troubles you still can use

    JROOT/language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_ja_acm.ini

And apply your language string here.

    One more thing.
You can use search string to locate which language file contain that language string. And if it’s not above files, you can copy that to one of above file.

Hope these information would help you.

    Thank you,
    Viet Vu
