for your info and upfront, I’m not Joomlart staff or a support member but as a customer who’s done a fair few sites moves may have a few pointers for you.
Firstly obviously check System Information / Directory Permissions that Directories are writable. If yes, then I once had a problem after moving a site that was related to my configuration.php.
What ever you do don’t post this file anywhere in public and make a copy before you change it but have a look in there for these parameters – mine at around line 60 ish
public $log_path = ‘/………/yourdomain/logs’;
public $tmp_path = ‘/……../yourdomain/tmp’;
Mine were still for the old sub domain and that’s why I had the problem. Soon as I’d set them to the new domain path everything was fine. Maybe that helps?
