Hi!

After i moved from my wamp localhost to a hosting server, the JA Slideshow Lite disappears in the frontpage:

Im using joomla 2.5.11 and the latest version of JA Slideshow Lite 1.1.7

Everytihng is enabled and befor i moved from the localhost, it worked very well.

Pls help?

Hi egbox,

The /modules/mod_jaslideshowlite/assets/js/script.js file can’t be loaded on your server which causes your issue. The solutions you can try:

1. Reinstall the module.
2. Check out the file permission on your server, make sure all files are set to 644 permission (except configuration.php file)
3. Check out the access permission to components, modules, template you maybe set in .htaccess file.

Hi Leo,

After reinstall the module and check out the file permission i found two .htaccess

modules/mod_jaslideshowlite/assets/.htaccess
modules/mod_jaslideshowlite/assets/js/.htaccess

There was a prohibited directive „AddType“ i have to comment out, now it works.

Im not sure, if it works too when i turn on the url rewriting option in the SEO settings?
