December 28, 2011 at 9:59 pm #172239I have did a quickstart install for j1.7 and while the back end works just fine this is the homepage:

I looked for the file specified factory.php and it is not there indeed.
Anyone had the same problem? I just downloaded the package and I can not think that the package had a problem. Is it something i am missing here?the site link is sismallbiz.com/~worldoff
Thank you for any help

So it wasn’t an “install JoomShopping’ issue after all.GREAT JOB on using a little trial-and-error to figure this one out. Quite often – in situations similar to this one where one has not yet engaged in any kind of significant web development – wiping the slate clean and starting fresh with a clean install is just the “jump start” needed to get things going.
All the best with your continuing site development !!!
