March 11, 2009 at 6:13 pm #295456Hi,
I would like to have the slideshow and contenscroll modules enabled. Is there any way to fix this?
Thanks!

March 12, 2009 at 11:29 am #295584Yes, I had to disable those modules to be able to visualize the home page properly. Once I disabled them, it worked like a charm but I need to make the slideshow and contenscroll work, because my client requires it.

March 12, 2009 at 2:11 pm #295608unfortunately, i have not found a solution for this yet but im leaning towards something to do with the web hosting as i have seen this template used with both modules without any problems. you might want to check with your web host regarding their php settings and how it might affect your site.

March 12, 2009 at 2:58 pm #295617I have a localhost server, and I am the admin. The settings are very common, and joomla does not complain about anything when installing.
The issue is that I need the modules, that is why I bought the year license to use this template. I really need help to solve this problem. I am going to open a ticker to see if any of the developers can help me.

March 16, 2009 at 4:21 pm #296287I just discovered the problem: You need to have PHP compiled with the gd library. Slideshow and Contenscroll modules use the gd library to make thumbnails and some other processing with the images.
