We upgraded from joomla 1.5.15 to joomla 2.5.8 everything appeared to migrate however articles are now blank when you click on the links to them. I have migrated it twice with the same results, however if you choose a different template such as beez2 the text will show just fine. We have been using the purity template since 1.5. The articles can be edited and display just fine on the backend. You can see an example by clicking any links from the test site below. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The current site is 216.125.166.26
The test site is 12.205.203.15

Hi there,

Do these articles belong to any menu item? Pls check again the configuration in backend settings of these articles and categories they belong to.

Also go to Global Configuration > Server tab and turn on Error Reporting, this will help you know the cause of the issues you are facing.

Hello Thanks for replying so quick.

The articles in our current joomla site are tied to sections then assigned to categories depending where the users would like to direct content. The menus then point to “section blog layouts” It appears that the “new” joomla did away with sections which might be the problem?

I went under global and turned on error reporting.
