A couple of days ago, I upgraded my site from Joomla 3.36 to 3.4. Since then I have problems with CSS/JS compression.

Not only are the pulldown menus and JLike thumbnail buttons playing up (sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t) the Joomla Content Mananger no longer displays the publishing, images etc tabs/sliders, meaning I can no longer select introtext and fulltext images, enter/edit meta data, tags, change author or publishing date. This problem occurs ALWAYS on the backend, and sometimes on the frontend too.

I was able to fix the problem. It went away after I disabled compression for Memcache in the Joomla Global Configuration and refreshed Memcache in the control panel.
