university for j 3.3.3
I did not install the quickstart, just the template.

The width is 980px as per the default.
How to change?
I need an entire width of 1170px or more.

(I have read: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-increase-the-template-width/.
None of the solutions provided there work for me.)

Currently on localhost, hope you can guide me to a solution,
