October 11, 2013 at 10:33 pm #191324Hi.
I chcked this on Joomlart Argo Demo in explorers: FF and Chrome.
History buttons of explorer (<-,->) don’t work when you want switch to previous or next page. When I switched off Ajax on my own website problems dissapeared.
And whats more there is a problem with Adsense when Ajax is on. When you use left side menu and switch to another article Adsens ads don’t display.
Switching Ajax off also solves this problem.
Why is that? And why is Ajax implemented in Argo template, what it is supoose to do?
Best regards

October 14, 2013 at 3:42 am #508863Hi portalion,
In which version of Internet Explorer browser did you face this issue? Do you have a URL to your site?
And if you install another 3rd party extension in your site, kindly disable it first and check again.

October 14, 2013 at 5:35 pm #508954Hi Saguaros
Thank you for quick response 🙂
FF 24.0 and Chrome 30.0.1599.69
As I said before you may observe history button issue on your Joomlart Argo Demo.
Please notice that the url in Explorer changes. however the content of page (on the screen) doesn’t change. After disabling 3rd party extesnsions at my website both issue (history buttons and Adsense) still exists.
There 2 adsense units: in article and in sidebar-1 module. Please check if you like.
Url to article on my website I am sending PM.Ajax is on now.
Best regards

October 15, 2013 at 9:40 am #509030Hi portalion,
I tried to check our demo site: http://joomla-templates.joomlart.com/ja_argo/index.php/en/ within Firefox 24 and Chrome 30 but the pre / next button still function correctly.
For the second issue, you can send me URL, admin and ftp account of your site, tell me the page where problem can be seen, I will check it further.
Regards

October 15, 2013 at 5:16 pm #509087Hi Saguaros,
Below I will try to describe in more details how to observe the issue.
To observe the issue on Joomlart Demo please follow steps:
1. Enter the website: http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#ja_argo/
2. When you are on homepage click link to article: A Stunning Joomla template for Technology news site
3. When you are in this article please click link to next article (leftside menu in inset): Why Android Takes Forever to Get Cool Apps
4. When you are in the second article click history back button in explorer.Result: Url shown in explorer changes but content remains the same, we still can see article Why Android Takes Forever to Get Cool Apps instaed of A Stunning Joomla template for Technology news site
On my website the issue dissapears when Ajax is OFF.
For second issue I am sending you information via PM.
PS
Please notice that the similar problem was described in post: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/adsense-and-facebook-comments-dont-show-up-when-switching-form-article-to-article/Thank you and best regards

October 16, 2013 at 5:08 pm #509200Hi Saguaros
Thank you for deep examining this issue.
Unfortunately I have notice more issues:
1. One in descibed here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/k2-content-in-sidebar-2-is-cutted/
2. The second is that K2 article main pictures don’t display in IE 8.0
3. In IE 7.0 brick images layout breaks – you may observe this on Joomlart Demo (homepage)
3. In IE 8.0 Breadcrums (on my web position sidebar-1) layout breaks – not in lineCould you please have a look also at them since you still have an access to my website?
PS
After registering in JiRA and clicking this link http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JATCARGO-138 I receive info that I don’t have permission. After entering to JIRA homepage I can’t find your report.Best regard

October 17, 2013 at 7:28 am #509281Oops, my bad, I forgot to change the security level, you can see it now.
<blockquote>1. One in descibed here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showt…ar-2-is-cutted</blockquote>
My colleague Leo is following it, kindly take a look.

I’m sorry but we no longer support IE7 for all templates and extensions, see this blog post for more info: http://www.joomlart.com/blog/news-updates/joomlart-to-stops-ie7-support-wef-from-1st-august-2012

October 17, 2013 at 4:37 pm #509359Thank you Saguaros for your help!
Now I can access JIRA 🙂
But I wanted to ask what about problem with Adsense that in details I reported to you via PM. I am not sure that the reason is the same because the steps to observe this issue (not displaying Adsense in content) are sligtly different. To observe this I didn’t use explorer history back button. I used links in menus and pages content realoads (as urls in explorer), however Adsense in content is not displayed.2,3 – my version of IE is 8.0.6001.18702, 128bits, Windows XP
Please have a look at my screen:And this is the screen of K2 article in Joomlart demo:
It’s a pity that this template has so many issues. It is really nice-looking layout and the first responsive I decided to use.
Do you perhaps know what it estimated time to resolve issues.
I’d like to know because I don’t know whether to wait or looking for sth else.I am very happy that Leo looked at my issue no1 and response. I will reply to him in a minute.
However, I am not happy with it what I learned baceuse:
if website is to succesfull it must obey Google rules, must be flxible and keep basic webusebility basics.
Details here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/k2-content-in-sidebar-2-is-cutted/Looking forward

October 18, 2013 at 7:23 am #509422Hi again,
With the problem of Absense code, I tried to open k2 article that you PMed me: http://www.tuwartobyc.pl/opolskie/namyslow/item/384-browar-namyslow and see that it’s displaying (also check in backend that Ajax is enabled)
Please try to test again our demo site with this link: http://joomla-templates.joomlart.com/ja_argo/index.php/en/ , the link you tested use iframe so that sometimes it doesn’t work perfectly. And let me know if the issue persists or not.
Kind regards

October 18, 2013 at 6:04 pm #509529Hi Saguaros
To sum up our discussion we have three issues to consider now:
1. Issue with Adsense ads display
2. Issue with K2 main image display
3. In IE 8.0 Breadcrums (on my web position sidebar-1) layout breaks – not in lineAd. 1
I have examined the issue dipper today. And I’d like to provide you with additional information:
– issue occours only if Ajax is ON
– when Ajax is ON issue occours in FF 24.0 and Chrome 30.0. When Ajax is ON issue doesn’t occour in IE 8.0.
– when Ajax is ON both in FF, Chrome and IE Adsense code is present in the sourcecode of webpage. But in spide of this Adsense ad in content isn’t displayed in FF and Chrome
– to observe the issue in situation when it occours please follow exact steps I have described for you in PM message (swiching beetwen articles). If you just enter for the first time the webpage with Adsense ad it shall display. However if you follow steps I described in PM you shall see when Adsense ad in content is not displayed. Please notice that on my webpage there are 2 Adesense ads: in content and in sidebar-1. The issue is related only to Adsense ad in the content.
– the issue dissapears when Ajax is OFF.Ad. 2
I have checked the issue on link you gave in the above post and I can still observe the issue.
I have checked this on two more PC’s of my friends and:
– the issue is also present on my friend’s PC with IE 8.0
– the issue doesn’t ocour on my second friend’s PC with IE 7.0
– the issue is not related to Ajax status (on or off)Ad. 3
Issue still remainsBest regards

October 24, 2013 at 4:12 pm #510145Thank you Saguaros for video.
I could also make a video and show you what I can see on the screen, but I am not sure if it would push things further.
How do you think? But I also have one more idea.
At the bottom of your video screen there is “Browser mode: IE8, Document mode IE8”
If you use forced browser mode or any kind of browser emulator, please check my issues again in oryginal browsers (as ordinary internaut use). And one more remark: I let you know in the previous post that:
“when Ajax is ON issue occours in FF 24.0 and Chrome 30.0. When Ajax is ON issue doesn’t occour in IE 8.0.”
But on your video I can see “mode IE8”Looking forward
