I have just done an update to Joomla 3.3.4 and I have noticed that the JA K2 Filter tool has stopped working.

You will need to contact me for further information regarding admin log-in if needed.

    Thanks

Forgot to mention. All JoomlArt components, plugins and modules are up to date.

I have just experienced the same problem after upgrade to 3.3.4.

I have temporarily resolved it by going back to 3.3.3 (the 3.3.x – 3.3.3 patch from Joomla successfully installed over 3.3.4)

I thought that would be a good solution but I have decided to keep this problem open to allow Joomlart a place to check it and form a solution. I have added a support request too. If nothing happens by tomorrow I’ll roll back and wait patiently.

Thanks for your post on this thread….it all helps.

Fair enough. Mine was a live site. I was getting an error message, that I cannot remember now. Something about not being able to access a field.

I think it will help if you can share the error message with Joomlart you are getting (if any)

    I saw that too…..hang on…

    Got it….

    Cannot redeclare class JFormFieldColor

Funnily enough it went away on a hard refresh but not until I had cleaned my cache in the back-end.

Forgive my ignorance. How did you do the “downgrade”?

I got the 3.3.x to 3.3.3 upgrade file from here (the second one down).

Then installed it through the extension manager, same as installing a component or module.

Never tried that way….should work well. Anyway they’ve picked up my support ticket now so I’m going to leave the problem in place so they can look at it and provide a fix. I’ll let you know. Thanks for your quick response.

    Hi guys,

We have released JA K2 Filter with the hot fix for Joomla 3.3.4 compatibility. Please upgrade this component thru JAEM or download via this link: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=20372
