Hello,
Two things:
I’d like to align my masshead background image to the right. As it is, my graphic which is to the right of the background image, goes off-screen on smaller displays. I guess I can write a custom .jamasshead definition in custom.css, but I’m not sure what to write.
The other thing is that i’d like the masthead to be full width.
Thank you.

September 10, 2015 at 9:04 am #682843Thanks pankajsharma. I’d like the home page graphic to look something like the following, but with the coloured part extending to the sides of the page:
Normal pages should have a cropped version of the same masthead, again with the coloured part extending to the sides of the page:

in this case i suggest you to use a JA ACM slideshow like in demo rather then posting bigger image in the masthhead because it the same style code is applied for all pages if u will apply custom style on masthead. For masthead issue in article kindly PM me your site super user admin details.

September 11, 2015 at 1:46 pm #683286Thank you pankajsharma. Yes the ACM is better. In order to achieve a coloured background to the edge of the page I added a colour to the T3_THEME_BODY_BACKGROUND_COLOR_LABLE field of the Theme controlling the portuguese language pages. I then attempted to load an image of the dog with a transparent background as a png file in the ACM, however it shows up with a dark background.
Please see the portuguese home page here:
Please advise how I can use transparent images in the ACM or how I can obtain a uniform colour until the edges of the page.
The effect that I’m aiming for on both english and portuguese home pages is the coloured background that you see with the English homepage (http://escuta.org/index.php?lang=en), but with this colour extending to the sides.
Hope this makes sense.

September 11, 2015 at 8:36 pm #683342Please ignore the last post. I figured how to make the ACM appear full-widht. How though can I make the scrolling masthead (when it darkens on scrolling) and the footer stretch to full width (without affecting the margins of the menus). Please see:
Thanks

September 11, 2015 at 10:48 pm #683344adding to the last post, I’d also the like the white of the article pages to extend to the sides. See:

Hi i am not able to get what you mean by scrolling masthead . The width in the footer is used as the container width . You need to change the template layout width as given in this doc1 user says Thank You to Pankaj Sharma for this useful post
