hi,i found alias bug in Kyanite II – i set alias in main menu. In left main menu is ok (http://www.example.com/keyword), but in main menu (top grey mega menu) alias url is http://www.example.com/component/content/article/47.

please look at http://www.letaky-hypermarketu.cz I create “test link” in left menu (at the end – last link) it is clasical page. Then i create menu item in main menu (under logotype) in section “markety” – name “test link alias” – the same link is also in left main menu

different situation – different url

When i click from homepage to “test link” url is: http://www.letaky-hypermarketu.cz/test-link it is ok
When i click from homepage to “test link alias” in left main menu url is: http://www.letaky-hypermarketu.cz/test-link it is ok
when i click from homepage to “test link alias” under logotype url is http://www.letaky-hypermarketu.cz/component/content/article/47 – this is problem

2 situation:
when i clickt from page http://www.letaky-hypermarketu.cz/test-link links are OK

3 situation:

click from page http://www.letaky-hypermarketu.cz/akcni-ceny/albert
“test link” is ok
“test link alias” in left main menu is OK
“test link alias” in menu under logo has url http://www.letaky-hypermarketu.cz/akcni-ceny/albert/47

was this problem resolved? i’m having similar issues trying to use alias (menulinks) in my main menu.

as you known, you make a menu with the section blog or category blog,you must choose a section or a category to display the list articles. links of articles refer to menu.

If article does not relate with one of menus, so the SEL joomla ‘ll make link with format
<blockquote>http://www.example.com/component/content/article/ID of Article</blockquote>

it’s not a bug.
