Hey,

the default position of the slideshow description is on top. I would like to change that to the bottom…

Any hints?

Question: Are you showing the control buttons or the thumbnails on the slideshow? If so these will need to be moved too.

Now, to move the slideshow mask…this is easy.

Go to jaslideshow2.css
Line 200, which you will see this:

#ja-slideshow .maskDesc .ja-slide-desc
background:#000000 none repeat scroll 0 0;
color:#FFFFFF;
font-size:100%;
position:absolute;
right:0;
top: 0px;
width:100% !important;

CHANGE ‘top’ to whatever pixels you need to get it aligned to the bottom. This could vary depending on if you have changed the slideshow dimensions from the default settings.

If you give me a live URL I can tell you what to change it to.
