April 7, 2009 at 9:59 pm #300464Hi there
this is just another idea. I went to Joomla official site and found a free extention that makes any sites look good in IE 8. It is a small extention but works like magic. I installed it to all my sites and they all look alright now in IE 8.

Can you put a download link to this extension?

May 5, 2009 at 5:51 am #303593Hi gianpo!
I experience exactly the same problem as you do. Have you solved the problem? And if yes, what did you do?
I have installed the IE8 Compatibilty-extension, but no change at all.

May 5, 2009 at 6:42 am #303595hi there, have you tried to clear all the cookies ? Also don’t forget to publish the extention, because the extention usually installed unpublished. If it still doesn’t work you might want to report this to the joomlart team.

May 5, 2009 at 10:17 am #303619when you are at the joomla administrator, the IE 8 compatibility extention will be under MAMBOT, go there and make sure that the extention that you installed is published (pay attention to the published/unpublished button.)
