Hi,
I have the module and plugin working just fine but I have a problem with the categories.
I would like to search within All the categories by default and also have the possibility to choose a category.
I have 166 categories and so the option of adding a top level category is a little painful … is there another way around this?
Thanks

June 23, 2012 at 3:26 am #458551Hi Logz05
Did you override K2 filter module? I doubt it!Regards,
June 25, 2012 at 1:53 pm #458758Hi,
I did not override the plugin settings. I have however now tried that and set the categories to yes but the first category still comes up as the default as – therefore unless the item is in that first category it does not find it…..

June 25, 2012 at 5:16 pm #458775Hi,
I tried putting all my categories as children in a top category called All Categories but this does not help either – the search only works if you choose the specific sub category the item is in – I can not see a way to search all categories.
Of course better still, would be to solve this for all parent categories as well as all categories – search a parent and you get the values in the child categories.
Looking for an answer or some direction on this one please.
