I am translating into portuguese by making changes to the “pt-BR.com_jacomment.ini” in the ja comment dashboard. Somethings show up correctly on the frontend and others don´t.
ex. Comment as a Guest or login. I can change the “login” but the “Comment as Guest or” does not change. Here is what I changed in the file.
COMMENT_AS_A_GUEST_OR=”Comentar como visitante ou fazer o”
and
LOGIN=”log-in” (I put the hyfen for me to know that it was translated because that is the same in pt-br and en-Gb)
The “Subscribe to ” does not show either.

What am I missing? I have searched the forum but not found much.
jacomment is version 2.5.1
joomla is version 2.5.6

Hi radioseara,
I did the same for my site in greek language and everything works fine. I almost translated everything in the ini file except from the licences text.
My site is in Joomla 1.5…
I am attaching my gr ini file… here if it is helpful for you.

Some of my translation shows – other does not. For example does this line of yours show on frontend – COMMENT AS A GUEST OR=Σχολιάστε σαν επισκέπτης ή αν είστε μέλος ? (I copied this from the file you sent me.) On mine it does not show among others.

Actually all my translations are working fine.
