    It would be easier to understand and handle presentation (and upgrades) in T3 templates if the presentation-related files (all stylesheets, layouts, and blocks) were kept in the template folders, not the plugin folder.

    An even better way to make it easy for users to modify the base/blank framework theme and not have too many problems with upgrades is to allow for child themes, like WordPress or the JoomlaBamboo Zen Grid framework.

    This suggestion was a few months back – has anything happened with it??
    — it’s a bit nuts sometimes using commercial themes and there being no child theme framework being there – meaning if you customise it is (almost) impossible to upgrade without overwriting the changes.

    Has anyone discovered a way to create child themes for JAT3 themes? Would be a big bonus for the T3 framework and themes if this wass possible.
