Take a look at this page

    http://allvideos.fritz-elfert.de/documentation/documentation-en-gb.html?start=4

and the advice on the JW player site.

    http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/

You just need to make a config file an call it in the tag. (or you could just add an IMG tag but it will make a long tag in the source)

Here is an example of the config file you would need.

    - <config>
    <file>http://www.jeroenwijering.com/upload/bunny.flv</file>
    <image>http://www.jeroenwijering.com/upload/bunny.jpg</image>
    <backcolor>0x000000</backcolor>
    <frontcolor>0xCCCCCC</frontcolor>
    <screencolor>0x666666</screencolor>
    <volume>50</volume>
    </config>

Hello bookpeg; I was able to solve this issue. I created an Image, gave same name and same size as the video, and saved in the same folder…

Fore example, if your viddeo is named: bookpeg.flv create an image and name it bookpeg.flv.jpeg

Ps, I didn’t use any software to capture the frame.

    Hope that helpds

That didn’t work on my version of AVR, so I have just upgraded to a later version and it does indeed work.

Phill; Where do you create the “config file’ ??

    Thnx

Wherever you want. Just put the yoursite.com/yourfile tag to point to your config file.

<blockquote>6. If many parameters have to be specified, you end up with quite lenghly tags. Alternatively, you can put all those parameters in a config file and then simply reference that. The URL, specified in the cfg attribute should point to a configuration XML file. The variable names in that file might differ from the attributes listed above. See the JW Media Player documentation for a reference. An example file can be found here.</blockquote>
