It is probably a Joomla 3.1 query and I have raised it in their forum but just in case it is a Joomlart issue…….

I upgraded to Joomla 3.1, developing a site with JA Mitius and the new TAGS feature seems to work very well.

A minor query on the sequence of TAGS added to articles, they appear in (creation) ID order only. I would prefer alphabetic sequence but cannot find an option to select it.

There are options to change the order of TAGS in the administration section of the component and with a menu item, but not when they appear in an article.

I assumed this would be standard, have I missed seeing the sequence selection option for TAGS in articles and if so, where is it?

    HI dealthenuts,

You can switch default template from JA Mititus to another standard Joomla template so that we can know the problem comes from Joomla or our template specific. By the way, this template is not ready for the latest version of Joomla 3.1, see our blog post for more information: http://www.joomlart.com/blog/news-updates/first-batch-of-joomla-31-upgrade-5-templates-11-extensions

    Regards.

Appreciate the help Saguaros, thank you.

I switched to the Protostar template and tabs in articles are still in (creation) ID sequence, so it is a Joomla problem and I have raised it in the Joomla forum.

I accept JA Mitius is not ready for Joomla 3.1 yet, but our upgrade is not live yet and the template works well enough to allow me to add tabs to articles, develop nested categories and do other tab related activities before updating to the Joomlart stable version for Joomla 3.1

If I wish to look at other Joomlart templates (for example Argo, Fubix) in my current Mitius set up, do I need to download the source file for each template as well as the template file, or just the template file? I know positions etc will be different, I just need to confirm what files are needed.

    Hi dealthenuts,

You just need to download the template package (not the quickstart one) and install via extension manager. Each template goes with different extensions (listed in download section of template), so if you wanna use these extensions, you can download them.

Let me know if you need further help.

    Regards
