I have 2 questions

First how do I change the word Headline in the headline section at the top? I have tried but can not find the word
Second how do I remove the alt texts from both images and text links?

To change the Headline you need to go into the Joomla Administration and select from the menu Modules and then select Site Modules. You will then select JA News from the list and then scroll down to where it says Headline Text and replace it with the name you want.

The alt text for images will be located in the individual Content Items under Images in the right side of each page. For text links it would depend on where it is in order to change. You will need to do a little exploring. 😉

Thanks a lot bigrk..you really helped me

I ahve done some explroring and have found the alt tags in the template. I am OK there too..

Now I have one last problem :p
I have found the Play, Stop, Previous and Next alt tags in the JA News and removed them. But this happens only for the first article. When the time comes and the second article is shown the alt tags for this 4 buttons are apearring again..Why god, why??

sorry for my late answer

On the modules directory..I have erased the alt tags in the mod_janews.php

This works for the first item but not for the others..

Fixed it..
all I had to do is delete the tags in the janews.js
in directory
/public_html/modules/ja_news

Now I have a last :p question for you. I want to make the table in the foto smaller.

I want to bring the date columh closer to the Item title column.

In this case I am having really big rpoblems finding the right file to modify..any help???
