hello to all,

how to modify the main menu dropline style to be always visible 2nd level menu, also if the user click to other menu – for example could be enough if there be visible second level for 1st item in main menu ? does anybody have this modification and could share the code please ? thank you

/in simplicity: always visible second level of main menu also for non main menu links/

Hi martin,

Please just try open templates/ja_teline_iii/layouts/blocks/mainnav.php file

remove or comment out these codes

hello dathq, thanks for your help – I tried it, but it cuted away second level menu at all /second row/

i need little bit different modificationa – to stay always visible second row of the main menu of 1st item of it , also if i choose item in different menu /not only main menu/

– becouse it is disturbing if user click in different menu and than mouseover on the main menu: bottom layout under main menu is jumping up-down

if i clicked to joomla license item, second level of upper menu is not visible – so it will be good if second level /bottom row/ stay always visible for first item /in video HOME/.

Hi martincg,

I am afraid that it is impoossible do as you want,the joomla license item is an menu item and it is not related to the Home menu item so you could not get the second level of Home menu display.

hallo dathq, isnt possible make some kind of “checer” /in javascript of dropline menu/ ? – like: other items menu than in main is selected -> show second level of first item in main menu ? or is it hard modification ? could be this done if i will hire javascript programmer ?
