We have located the relevant PNG named slide-mask (templates/ja_mendozite/themes/green/images>slide-mask) and created a copy. We cannot locate a PSD file named slide-mask. We have created a PSD file from the PNG file. However we are unable to amend Layer1 of the PSD file.

How do we amend the caption from “WORLD WIDE EXPERIENCES…” to our own caption?

What is the font family, variant and subset of “WORLD WIDE EXPERIENCES” and “OUR WORK IS DEDICATED…”?

What is the HEX code for ‘Green’ that we have selected as our “Theme Setting” in Template Manager:Edit Styles>Profile?

What is the HEX code for “OUR WORK IS DEDICATED…”?

Thanks in advance for your support

The easiest way to locate the relevant slide-mask PSD is to use “Search” for “slide-mask” in the local Drive that you have downloaded the folders to i.e. the Drive the Mendozite folders are saved. Otherwise, the slide-mask.psd file is in ja_mendozite_source/psd/elements/

My “Search” results returned 25 files – only one is a PSD; the others are PNG images.

Double-click on the PSD file and it will open in Adobe Photoshop Elements (assuming you have the program)

“WORLD WIDE” is ‘Oswald’ font and our version of Photoshop provides a warning to replace the missing fonts (Layer>Type>Replace All Missing fonts)

“EXPERIENCES” is ‘BebasNeue’ font, which our version of Photoshop also replaces

“OUR WORK IS DEDICATED…” is a text object and in ‘MyriadPro Light’ font. It has a HEX code of #ABABAB

Our version replaces all missing fonts to ‘Algerian’, which is the first font available in our Adobe Photoshop list of fonts.

We suggest a Google search of similar fonts to the above, if your version of Photoshop has replaced the missing fonts e.g. MS Gothic is similar to Oswald font.

It is useful to save the amended changes as a “copy” e.g. “slide-mask_copy.png” so that you have access to the original file at a later stage, if needed.

We haven’t determined the HEX code of ‘Green’ yet.

You will need to save as a PNG image and replace the original with your amended version to the designated folder e.g. ‘Green’ Theme setting = templates/ja_mendozite/themes/green/images (and clear the cache) in order for the changes to take affect. Alternatively, amend the code in CSS (if you are confident).

We hope these detailed instructions help you.

This is located in Extensions > Module Manager > JA Slideshow Lite. TIP: Type “ja” in ‘Filter’ window to find the module quickly.

The captions are located in the window titled “Advanced Configuration”. Customize as needed.

TIP: “Save as Copy” and amend so that you have the original, if needed.

Remember to “Publish”your copy and “Unpublish” the original; and clear the cache in order for the changes to take affect.

We hope these detailed instructions help you
