I’m trying to get my gallery slideshows to always show the entire gallery of pictures.

Right now when you click on RSGALLERY you go to the main gallery page and see all available galleries. Next to each gallery is its name, description, number of pictures, etc. It also has a link that says SLIDESHOW. When you click on slideshow you can slide through every picture in the gallery.

    This is fine…

However when you click on a specific gallery, and say you are showing 12 pictures on that page, and you click slideshow up top, the slideshow will only show you the 12 pictures, and not every picture in the gallery?

How can I make it so I show every picture in the gallery no matter where a user clicks the slideshow link?

I think you shouldn’t change like that, because example if you at page 3, in each page have 12 images, it’s difficult to show exactly your image in that page when you want to show all images

I bring this up because users brought it up to me. You and I know how to navigate a website and understand the web. Now picture being a person that does very basic things on the internet, or older people that use the internet for nothing more than to read an email or see pictures of their grand kids.

The click on slideshow inside the gallery and only see a slideshow of the pictures on that page.

I would prefer for the slideshow button to show all pictures in THAT gallery no matter what page they are on. I think this works best. Can this be done?

I also found myself strugling with this problem because it is indeed logical to see a slideshow of an entire gallery (imo) instead of a part.

What you can do is adjust the thumbnail per page in the rsgallery2 control panel settings. Standard is 12 but you could make it 100 if you want. Don’t think 100 or perhaps 50 thumbnails loading in 1 page will slow it down alot. You could try.

The users could also click slideshow in the main gallery menu where they read the description per gallery. Then it will also show all images in the gallery.

    Hope this helps you somehow.
