May 2, 2008 at 1:49 pm #247559Hi
Been offline for a couple of days here….
Regarding:
<blockquote>Can you post this code for jateline v.1.1?</blockquote>I am not shure what you mean? The code is used in JATelline v. 1.1 —
Regarding:
<blockquote>I’m sorry. I just thinked “above the logo” but I wroted “under the logo” in my first post…
But what is difference in your code?</blockquote>Hmm – i actually gotta try some methods there before i can show you an example.
I am not the best in this stuff either lol, and actually, i need to ask a Q to one of the bosses here (or someone who knows how to code the below):
————————————————————————————————————
On my site, i use this position for displaying a 468×60 banner. This leaves some space for displaying another module position on the right side of the banner.The thing is, i am not to good in the “clear div” area and switching the php code to use ”if this or this”. Could someone help me with an example on how i must alter my code so i can have two module positions, in the area where i have the ”main banner” on my frontpage here?
I have tried a few methods but with minimal success so far š
Any help aprissiated – and i’ll try to help you out cstibi with a code asap
May 9, 2008 at 7:37 pm #248396HI, I did manage to get the banner to the top using the above suggestions but I need to take it a step further. I need to align the top banner to my logo/header. Here is my template.css code for the banner
#top-banner {
margin: 0;
padding: 0px 0;
text-align: center;
overflow: hidden;
width: 100%;
border-top: 1px solid #CCCCCC;When I select text-align: right, it puts the banner all the way over to the right of the screen, not even with the logo.
Here is my site
http://www.carsmithweb.com/carcollectormag/
Here is an example of what Iām shooting for
http://www.motortrend.com/index.html
Notice how the top advert aligns perfectly to their logo, and how snug it fits as well.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
