Hello,

I migrated from 1.5 to 1.7, and any content I try to open from a module located in frontpage it appears on frontpage!
Just for one section (news) it doesn’t happen and works fine.
I don’t understand reason for this difference.

And I really don’t know what to do.
I’ve tryed as written in a previous thread, but the problem persists.

Any other suggestion?

yes of course.

At this moment i’ve not hide the main content block and I’m not using ja modules, but with that settings the problem is the same.

If you click on the first and second article pubblished on frontpage everything is ok, but if you try with the third one or with the link in bottom modules, articles appear in frontpage.

Penso che possiamo anche parlare in italiano cosi ci capiamo meglio

Quello che tu vedi nei tuoi primi due articoli accade perchè essi sono collegati ad un menu

Es. articolo “Giappone. Bilancia Commerciale peggiore delle attese” path = Home –> News –>Giappone. Bilancia Commerciale peggiore delle attese

Es. 3° articolo “GiapponeGiappone Edizione 2012” path = Home –> Redazione Editoriale –> GiapponeGiappone Edizione 2012

La categoria Redazione Editoriale non è compresa nella sezione news del tuo sito quindi devi crearla nell’item news in modo da indicare a Joomla come mostrarla diversamente dal default cioè in home

What you see in your first two articles is because they are linked to a menu

Eg article “Japan. Trade Balance worse than expected” path = Home -> News -> Japan. Trade Balance worse than expected

Example # 3 article “GiapponeGiappone Edition 2012” path = Home -> Editing Editorial -> GiapponeGiappone Edition 2012

Editorial Writing category is not included in the news section of your site then you must create it in item news to tell Joomla as opposed to the show that is in default homepage

Oh che sorpresa, poter scrivere in italiano qui 🙂

Credo di aver capito cosa intendi ed in effetti questa intuizione mi era venuta, ma poi ho visto il primo link di “Altri articoli” presente in frontpage dopo i tre articoli di cui sopra (“Giappone meta di sogno e alcune motivazioni personali”). Esso è inserito nella categoria Spazio utente a sua volta inserita sotto la categoria Blog che è presente nel mainmenu. Se lo apro passando dal menu non ho problemi, se lo apro cliccando sul link presente in frontpage si verifica lo stesso problema.

I think I understand what you mean and in fact this insight came to me, but then I saw the first link for “Other articles” present in frontpage after the three items listed above (“dream destination for Japan and some personal reasons”). It is categorized Userspace in turn placed under the category Blog that is present in the mainmenu. If I open it via the menu I have no problem if I open it by clicking on the link in frontpage you encounter the same problem.
