very sad to hear, what am I gonna do now when Virtumart and joomla are all way far upgraded in the future? Pick another template and go with it and reenter, re-modify and enter in hundreds of products all over again, and then lose all of my website’s indexed links cause they would be invalid with a new template, then what, I would yet again lose, with search engine ranking and drop and then what?

Will this template ever be upgraded after all the Joomla and virtumart upgrades settle down to a stable lasting version of each in the future?

I tried to find others templates but it seems that nobody have a template for Virtuemart and J 1.7. It’s a very popular extension (still) so maybe the folks here, at JA, will reconsider this decision and will put this template on the radar again.

Hi,

Even though the old VM compatible templates are not currently scheduled for conversion for Joomla 1.7, according to the latest info I have, once VM 2.0 stable is released, we would upgrade previous VM templates, JA Zeolite II & JA Mesolite II supporting VM 2.0 for J 1.5 / J 1.7. Unfortunately we can not give any specific dates for releasing these upgrades. But keep checking JA for any news on the template upgrades.

You can check latest JA blogs at http://www.joomlart.com/blog (/ after blog, as in the url you have posted should not be there) and JA template updates at http://www.joomlart.com/updates/joomla-templates

Both these can be accessed from the menu at the top of every page on JA site, Blog & Updates respectively.
