Are there any plans to adapt the JA K2 Filter Component so it uses standard Joomla content along with the new ‘custom fields’ to be released in the forthcoming joomla 3.7? Would be absolutely ideal if this could be possible.

I am using joomla + k2 as a news website, and would be great if i could filter everything as i do with k2, but only for joomla content.
