I realize that the keyword search can be set to include a custom field. But that is not always the best solution. For example, the alert may pull in a job that has a city in the description, but the job isn’t actually located in that city. So I’d like to include my custom field in the alert itself, rather than through the keyword. Any suggestions on doing that?

Dear Brent,

Because the JobAlert form is fixed so that if you want to add some fields into it, you have to modify file componentscom_jajobboardviewsjajobalertsview.html.php and file componentscom_jajobboardviewsjajobalertstmplform.php 🙂
