One has to scroll down but nothing, not even a scrollbar, tells its the case an what to do. Lazy load is off. My dialog with the Joomlart techs has sent me here without any hint, i’m desperate.
    Site is Giovelina.com Thanks

Which image should be the last one? I see lots.

Thanks for your reply, you have obviously seen the last one, the only problem is the lag, in fact the complete halt of the loading proce Iss after 3 or four images unless you trigger the scrolldown arrow. But one could think there is nothing more to see after these 3 images. Once you ask for a scroll the whole content appears automatically. I d like ti get rid of that first halt if possible. Tks

Does the "….slick_uniqueid "3" …." have some influence ? I get only 3 images initially.

I hope it does. Do you expect from me that I modify this with a higher value ? (what is the css folder in the template by the way ?)

Nope, sorry. JA Wall demo shows same so I guess it’s a red herring.
To see CSS folder go to Extensions menu > Templates > ja wall (on right column) and you’ll see the CSS folder.

On your Home menu, can you check you have settings that would encourage loading of enough items? e.g. Intro items in Blog Layout tab. The ja-wall demo is set to 20.

I just set up a ja-wall site from quickstart and added 5 of your images. They all load fine. See http://wall.gpmnews.com/index.php

To see the backend settings for reference. Admin login: hectorz pwd: giovelina
    Please don’t change anything. 🙂

After a quick inquiry, its a known problem in Jquery Masonry, but the thing is JAWall & Joomlaret visibly did not adress it.
I found a script to correct this inside Jquery Masonry (imageloaded function) but where do I insert a script that corrects a component that is not even visible in the plugin list ?

Thanks to provide me with a clue

Maybe if you set up a Home menu item the homepage would load like the Paintings menu item does?

Have been fiddling around, i got connected to the site you kindly put up with some of my pics, but i dont recognize in your site the config menu thats featured in mine. Under config in your site there are 2 choices, templates and languages, in mine they are plenty.
Anyway I have set up the number of intro to 20, no luck.
Something even stanger, your site loads perfectly where I am (countryside, poor connection quality) whereas mine is all messed up at times due (according to provider) to bad connection quality, as if i was in simplified html.

I start to suspect that the quality of the quickstart package (JaWall34) I have used is in question. Is there a place where i can download the zip jwall template in its latest cleanest version? Thanks

In order to better see the wood for the trees, I have made a clean Wall site with a few pictures from my garden. It’s here: http://wall-cs.gpmnews.com/index.php/garden To make this I installed Joomla 348 and then added the Wall template and extensions. I can make an Akeeba backup of this site which you could download and restore on your server, if you don’t want to start from scratch yourself.

BTW. None of the images on my garden site are local. they all come from my G+ site, so the Akeeba .jpa download file is only 26MB.

Thanks for this updated version of jawall quickstart and the precious link.
By the way your guess was right, somewhere in the page preferences (home/featured items) there was an "intro item number set to 3 " that I changed for 20, no more lag loading first page. So the problem is solved. For your information, being stuck for the week in a remote country place, the connection is sometimes like 512k, and jawall doesnot even make the effort of organizing the whole stuff, it comes absolutely jammed (picture). Though yesterday your site went perfectly displayed, which make me think that my version of jawall/joomla all included is somewhat faulty. I grab yours. Thanks again.

Where in "the sticks" are you? ADSL speed none too good here either.
