Hi, I have a client who want images overlaid on a Google Map, when the images are clicked ideally they want a lighbox style modal box to appear and load a gallery module.

Is this possible with the JA Google Map Plugin?

    Hi,
You can take a look into this document
    http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/extensions/ja-google-map
It have a feature “Show images | Wikipedia Articles | You Tube Movies | as layers on your maps.”
So is it the feature you looking for ?
    Thanks.

Thanks Viet Vu, yes I saw that on your extension info page but is it possible to have custom images with custom links on them?

Or are those images in the demo coming from Picassa?

    Thanks

    Hi,
You can take a look into the plugin config
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YHh4JGpTig

If the feature you need out of the configuration , you must custom the code by yourself.

Great thanks, I can see in the video in the Layer parameters there is a checkbox to “show image over maps” but it doesn’t say what these images are. So I’ll just assume it is referring to Picassa images, so no custom images can be added in a layer.

I think I’ll need to custom code this then, thanks again
