    Hello everyone,

I have almost read the entire forum, I couldn’t find an answer for the rest of my questions. I appologize if I’m asking something already posted.

The website I’m working on is this one.

1.) My first question is about the general view of the site: If you go there, you may first notice that the “search” bar is somewhat out of bounds, it comes out of it’s square.

That happened while I was trying to apply the changes listed in this post:

    [Question] Make left column smaller
    mabo

So what I would like is to first “fit” that search bar into its square, and then, I want the information displayed at the centre to have a bit more of space because I fill like the right and left menus are to wide, I would like to make them both a bit more thinner.

2.) I think this is more a Jommla question than a Utahia one.

If you roll over the “Magazine” on the Main Menu, you will notice it scrolls down more options. One of the option is “Insider” and the other “Contents”.

Evethough I added them both as Blog – Content Category when I created them in the mainmenu, they are both displayed very differently. I would like them both to be displayed as a “Blog – Content Category”, not like a table/list.

I think this problem has to do with the CID number that appears on the right hand side of the Menu Manager [mainmenu] table. I keep deleting (even from the bin itself) and adding again, but I always get the same CID number. It’s like the joomla admin is ignoring me, or it is pointing somewhere else I can’t modify.

Additionally, you may notice that on these problematic ones, the “You Are Here:…” at the top keeps saying “Home”, which I would also like to get fixed.

    Well, that’s all for now.

Thank you very much in advance.

Well, I fixed the serach-out-of-bounds issue. It now looks fine.

I’d still like to know how to make the left and right collumns a bit thinner so there’s more space for the middle content.

    Thank you

    Hello all,

I would like to mark this thread as solved, but I really don’t know how to. Please instruct me…

About the solution… I just had to reinstall Joomla. Then everything worked fine. Must have had been a weird bug.

    Thank you very much.
