This is becoming like whack-a-mole; fix one bug and another pops up. The latest problem: yesterday, my “news” category displayed 20 articles; today – nothing. I click on articles on the front page and nothing appears – except the headline in the web browser title bar. This is exasperating, to say the least.

Give a check on module that displays articles list , be shure you haven’t selected “show only featured articles”.

Have you already check for the articles in the back end? they are existing? are they featured?
Also images seems to be wiped out.Some are missing. check fot DB integrity, and if possible upload a back up of db.

Yes and yes.

The missing images are a minor result of importing articles. The main issue is one day the articles display and the next they don’t.

Update: the articles are back — no changes were made. With luck, they will stick around for another day.

May be this issue is from the caching function. With certain reasons this page could not get full content and This is cached, That time you see the blank page without the content. When the issue happen on your site, please inform me via a ticket .
