#menu-type li .class.

September 13, 2010 at 6:29 pm #355405yes, you must fully address the style in the css in order to force using it.
Most of the browsers, especially ALL IE, will get messed up with your CSS files, so you can try the CSS Optimisation features, the JOIN feature could help, but mostly browsers cannot compute the CSS properly, becuase they are not completely addressed.
Try a different hosting, maybe that could be another cause.

I have tested this on Dreamhost and local XAMPP, and it looks the same (tested in XAMPp over Windows 7 and XP, with IE 7 and IE Tester+IE7)

plz open file templates/arn/local/themes/arn/css/menu/mega.css
And remove this code at line 135 as default:
