July 4, 2009 at 8:00 pm #310018Clean and basically a nice looking site….
The font seems a little on the large side for me and there is something about your menus that is not quite right…..also if you don’t mind me saying can you add a bit of padding between around your picture on the home page so the text is not tight against it.
Why not place your Like it? Share it! to the left instead of having a lot of wasted space below it
All points are intended to help 😉

July 5, 2009 at 6:40 pm #310064Have to agree with Phil on this,
If you move the two modules on the right to the left and let the main body fill out the space the layout will be a bit more pleasing, unless you plan on adding more modules.
The font is a bit big for my taste as well, but that is a matter of personal prefrence.
I do suggest that if you are going to keep the large font, that you also make the left menu the same font size as the body text because it looks funny being normal size when the rest of the page text is large.
Overall though it’s a nice site.
Keep up the great work. 🙂

July 6, 2009 at 7:37 am #310091Hi, Nice work so far. I guess now you have to wait for more “stuff”. One small thing I noticed, I don’t know if it comes from the template itself, but the icons for PDF and Print are grey, but the icon for Email is black.
Also, just personally I think I would use a less bright blue for the Logo, but that’s just my opinion.

July 8, 2009 at 12:54 am #310312Hi
I agree with the previous post, the site looks nice so far.
Looking at the site from IE7 the slideshow doesn’t appear to be working properly, I can see the first picture properly, then half of the first and half of the second? Also the slideshow is overlapping your bookmarks and sponsors. Might just be IE7…

July 9, 2009 at 7:31 pm #310519thanks so much. I hadn’t checked with IE since adding the slideshow. Appreciate it.

July 10, 2009 at 4:53 pm #310617You’re welcome,
You can use http://browsershots.org/ to check different browsers but having said that it might not have shown your problem because it was only when the slideshow changed that I noticed it, the first picture was fine.
I’ve also found that sometimes you have to request a second screenshot because the first isn’t always accurate!
