January 17, 2013 at 9:12 am #184085I was editing my quickstart site.
The site seems to work perfectly fine except for the images of the articles.
I changed a couple of imaged, text, image properties and all for a couple of articles that i wanted, and the text changes and the new content is reflected instantaneously but the new imaged that i insert or replace don’t show at the frontend.
I also used the inspect element and what i noticed that the Image properties like the name and the alt-text have been updated but the url still remains the same as images/demos/sam-1.jpg.Though in the editor the new image is being displayed.
I dont have the caching turned on, i cleared my browser cache, i tried refreshing several times but nothing happens.

<div class="ja-sidenews" style="display: block; height: 240px;" onclick="location.href='/default/index.php/products'">
<img width="241" height="240" title="Products" alt="Products" src="/default/images/joomlart/demo/sam-3.jpg">
<div class="ja-slidenews-cover" style="height: 54px;"><blockquote><img width=”241″ height=”240″ title=”Products” alt=”Products” src=”/default/images/joomlart/demo/sam-3.jpg”></blockquote>

January 18, 2013 at 7:00 am #480280Hi Dpchap015,
May be you change image in articles which are not displayed on front end or your site is still using cache. Please check and make sure that this image http://yourdomain.com//default/images/joomlart/demo/sam-3.jpg exists.
Regards

January 18, 2013 at 8:00 am #480289I figured that the JA Side News module was overriding the overall system cache. So i had to disable the cache from the Module Advance Settings.
