I, too, would like the answer to this long-standing problem. In the single, stand-alone article, the image always appears right-aligned, even though I specify left-aligned, and the image appears left-aligned in the editor. Once the article is published, however, the image is displayed right-aligned.

January 28, 2011 at 6:01 pm #374285Hi Mic,
Thank you for your reply. Can you please let me know how to use the script you provided and do I have to do it for every post?
Thank you

January 28, 2011 at 6:11 pm #374290Deactivate the plugin jathumb (and japopup) or do it for every post. For every post: use {jathumbnail off} – paste it in your code of an article. If you want to use both (thumb and image) exclude with {jathumbnail off images=”images/stories/example1.jpg,images/stories/example2.jpg”}. Must be behind “readmore” in that case.

January 28, 2011 at 6:46 pm #374295Hi Mic,
The metod you described moves the image to the right but with some side efects – if there are multiple images they are shown separately and the images are displayed with their real size 🙁
jathumbnail is briliant, I want to use it. I just want to be able to switch between left and rigght position in the article
Thank you

January 29, 2011 at 7:30 am #374348It’s only possible to do it once. Go to plg_jathumnail and choose: Image align – left. Left – right – left -right (f.e.) is not possible with that plugin. Otherwise do it with “Jathumbnail off” without popup. Or use third party extension. Mic
