Greetings,
I’m amazed at the templates and the producers and members that make these things work.
I can’t figure one thing out –I have resolved lots of problem, but,… the images I insert in articles do not appear in the article but are found in the upper left corner and will pile up on one another. They did this earlier and the template produced an error message that I resolved by resetting permissions on the re-sized folder and other folders –now the warning is gone but the images are still misplaced.
I’ve been using JCE editor and have tried turning everything off, I just don’t seem to be able to narrow thus problem down. I assume it is in the CSS? I’m on a PC with Firefox. The images are from several files set for the frontpage display –one is “Example Pages and Menu Links” which should show the “glass of milk” picture between the four bulleted points in the article. These pages and images work in other templates along with the JA Slideshow 2 modules.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated,
Thanks,
Jack (zeeartist)

February 11, 2009 at 8:41 am #290615Hi
Please go to Menus->Mainmenu, then choose Home menu to edit , in Parameters (System) tag, you will see a parameter is Page Class Suffix, please enter “_fp”. After save , you will have front-page is same format with demo site . Please kindly edit front page contents for that format

February 11, 2009 at 3:14 pm #290685Thank you for responding. I made the changes and the corner is cleared but the images are not where the article has them positioned. I tried several things and then reset it to your specifications so you could see how it appears.
The last sentence you wrote, ..”Please kindly to edit front page contents for that format.”, leaves me uncertain if there is something else to do on every article I want to appear on the frontpage –I’ve looked and don’t see anything I could add like that to the content. Would you please clarify that statement.
I did not use the quickstart since I already had Joomla installed. I thought this was a strange option since I just wanted the template. Did I miss something in not using the quickstart? If so, this was not clear in the download instructions.
The change you offered “_fp” also added the magenta title bars. What other things do I need to do to get the page close to the demo page?
Thanks so much.
Jack

February 12, 2009 at 2:05 am #290774Hi
As you look at demo site, all contents at front page only display intro text , your contents is long and have embed video –> width is bigger than width of body —> break page.
Please kindly edit your contents at front-page like as demo
