I’ve changed the article parameters in the JA_Sulfur template, and it will not change on the front end. For instance, I’ve chosen to hide the author and modified date on every article, but they are still showing up.

You try to check the configuration in the Parameters (Component) parameters of the menu. or Global setting of the content component: you set Hide for those parameters
