I have a problem with article ratings.

Say that Article1 is in section A and category B. Section A has the setting for Article rating set to Hide, which also correcttly hide the aricle rating on the section layouts. However, if I set Article rating to “hide” on category B, the article rating is not displayed on the category blog layout, which is also correct. I do however want to see the article ratng when viewing the article in questions, and the Article1 has the setting “Use global” for the article rating setting.

If I explicitly set the article rating to “Show” on Article1, the rating is displayed on the article itself, which is exaclty what I want to achieve. I am not that keen though on chaning hundreds of articles to “Show” on the article rating settings. Is this a bug or is this normal behaviour?

I’m running Joomla 1.5.5 as of today.
