I have an issue with the display of Article Titles. I can not solve it. I am using JA Social template… But I do not know if issue is related to template or not.
-> When Diplaying an Article, the Article Title are not displayed. and this is strange because in the general parameters display title is set to “Yes” and in the articles “advanced parameters”, disply title options is set to “global parameter”.
So I do not see the reason why the article title are not displayed…
Weird enough I have some few articles for which title is displayed….
Help VERY welcome…

August 2, 2011 at 8:30 pm #404233Keep an eye on my topic too, because it’s pretty similar. Although I’m trying to make all of that info disappear, I’m also having problems with getting the settings to take effect.

August 8, 2011 at 8:47 am #404910Hello olivier34 ,
To display the title article
Goto admin Login ->Content ->Article Manager ->Your Article ->Parameters (Advanced) ->Show Title -YES
Apply and JAT3 Clean Cache .
August 8, 2011 at 1:55 pm #404947Yes, This will work off course…. but the problem is not one one singe article… I have the issue with many articles.
We should find a way to solve the problem for the whole site .
My issue is that the Global parameter is set to Show Title -YES. So I should NOT have to go to each article to enforce “show title – yes”himangi Friendhimangi

August 9, 2011 at 10:34 am #405107Hello Olivier,
There are more than 1 menu items related to Info-exterieures. One menu item you have in main menu and it shows up at the url you have provided. Another one is present in menuadherent, in which Parameters for component are specifed instead of using ‘Use Global’ option. If you turn on the title / choose use global instead of hide in this menu item, the problem will be solved.
For future reference I would suggest you to create only one menu item for a category blog / single article or any type of menu. And if you need to create another menu for the same thing, use alias of the existing menu or use external url type of menu and give the existing url there, so that the itemid assign to a certain menu will be same.
