March 23, 2015 at 11:21 pm #204951Folks
I have a front page using several Uber ACM modules, followed by an ordinary display of articles.
When I click “read more” on any article on the home page, I also get one ACM module (Gala Photos) but not the other (Features four.) On the home page I get both.Of course, what I really want is both to appear on the home page but neither on an article page.
The menu assignments for both appear identical (only home page.)
I’ve attached two screenshots and also gave you a login. Please be careful if you log in because the site is soon to go live.
Again, many thanks. Dave Burstein

March 24, 2015 at 1:25 am #564328Hi Dave,
The module “Features four” is JA ACM module and its working fine. But the module “Gala Photos” is custom html module

when a component or article has no menu item, and therefore no itemid, Joomla assigns a default value of 1. For almost all sites Itemid=1 is the frontpage, so Joomla loads up all the frontpage modules with your component or article awkwardly squished in, if it shows at all.

In this case, you can create a hidden menu for these articles. It will be solved this issue. You can check the documentation here
Thanks
