October 21, 2012 at 1:48 pm #470641Well i would start by adding a menu item (and rename the category from demo to something more relevant to your sites subject for SEO purposes)
Then check the settings if that’s a K2 category, in order to achieve the wanted result.
Regards

October 23, 2012 at 6:20 pm #470899Hi,
You need to do as follows:
1. Go to your Joomla categories and rename the demo to something more relevant to your site.
2. Add a menu item in footer menu and select this category, after that you need to publish or unpublish the items you want to be shown on this page.1 user says Thank You to Manos for this useful post

January 4, 2013 at 12:29 am #478340Hi,
I must agree that the article that JA Developer posted is the one you need to implement on your site also. It will solve your problem.
Please try to follow what he suggests and let us know if it’s working.Regards

January 7, 2013 at 1:05 pm #478727Dear,
The truth is that I read the article but do not quite understand.
I see that you or someone in your company I have solved the problem. Thank you very much.
The fact is that the same thing happens to me on the menu called INICIO (HOME).
I had to create a sub-type “category Blog” to ensure that the items will be displayed in two columns, not one that is as is if I remove the Boot submenu.
The truth is that this seems a “fudge” and I hate to have to see a submenu under HOME.
Could you tell me how I can fix it or fix it yourself if not too much trouble?
Thank you very much.
I attach screenshots to see how articles are displayed without the false submenu HOME and him.Thank you again.

January 7, 2013 at 4:19 pm #478756Are you certain that you have the proper modules assigned for that/those particular page(s)??
On it’s face, it looks to me as though you simply do not have the additional modules you want to display assigned to certain pages.Another method to check/cross-reference your own settings against those of the demo version is to utilize
JA’s DEMO BUILDER tool.drdig Frienddrdig

January 7, 2013 at 4:35 pm #478761Thanks, but I think it is so complicated.
Just like the news module on my main web called “ALTA DEFINICION HD: Especialistas en Blu-ray y HD” items not show on the homepage, but in another and thus could see the items in two columns as seen now with the “trick” submenu I’ve done.
I see that in the original template module items “Featured Articles” are shown on the home page but to a column. I can assure you that when I installed version 1.5 of the template JARasite years ago items were displayed in two columns without doing me any tricks or modification.
I would like to know how to fix this that I dragged on for over a year.
Thank you very much.TomC ModeratorTomC

January 7, 2013 at 4:44 pm #478771Again, I would recommend checking/cross-referencing your own settings against those of the demo version using JA’s DEMO BUILDER tool. (click the blue “Demo Builder” link to read more)

January 7, 2013 at 5:01 pm #478778Wow, I’ve done as I’ve indicated, but as I said before, in version 2.5 by clicking “Read more” in one of the articles in the column “Featured Articles” it is displayed on the home page to a column while in version 1.5 of the DEMO BUILDER I downloaded is shown on another page as you see here: http://ja-rasite1357577301.joomweb.com
