Articles of popular places appear in the footer. But if you click on the article/photo for readmore, the whole article appears in the section ‘Top Hotels in France’ in the position ‘content’. The articles about popular places have nothing to do with hotels. How can I change the position for this articles?

    Hello extranet,

You should create a menu for category containing those articles in footer. The problem occurs because article in footer isn’t linked to any menu on site.

    Sorry, Stork,
I don’t understand what you mean.
    My Idea is:
If you click on an Article in “Popular Places” in the footer, then the full article appears under the position “Top Hotels in France” (see http://www.lanka.de). I want it to appear i.e. in the position left-mass-top.

    How can I manage that.

‘left-mass-top’ position is only used to display modules. All content on your site must be displayed in that ‘content’ (mainbody) position. It’s Joomla feature.

Sorry, what is the meaning of: “You should create a menu for category containing those articles in footer”
How can I create a menu for a category?

Those articles are not in the footer. They are part of the module ‘content slider’ called “popular places”.
